NBC15 Honored with Two Emmy Awards
WMTV NBC15 has been honored with two Emmy Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts & sciences - Chicago/Midwest Chapter.

The Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences hosted the Midwest Emmy's Saturday night.
NBC15 was honored to receive two awards:
Leigh Mills and Sam Sorenson received an Emmy Award for the story "Power to Forgive: Triumph over Tragedy." It is the amazing story of Jackie Millar, who spent six weeks in a coma after an attack in her own home. Now, Jackie has forgiven the men that shot her.
Chris Papst, David Clay, and Paul Tavernier received an Emmy Award for the story "Miracle on the Hudson." Chris conducted the first local television interview with Jeff Skiles, the co-pilot of U.S. Airways Flight 1549 that landed in the Hudson River.

The nominations were announced on Thursday, October 1. The awards will be handed out on Saturday, November 7 in Chicago.
