how would the time warner cable blackout affect tmj4's signal to a provider that isn't involved in the negotiations (ie: over the air (OTA) or att uverse, charter, etc)? it wouldn't. it was probably a direct beam of sunlight to the satellite that momentarily caused a hiccup in the signal. as we know, with digital you either have the signal or you don't. so when you don't have the full signal things like that can happen vs the old analog days when you'd have a picture even if it wasn't coming in completely clearly.
