How is it a disaster? Nights and the noon show I'll give you. Those are recent changes and are having growing pains. Keep in mind this is Chicago not Milwaukee or Madison, where things run a little differently. For one, Chicago likes its old timers. Johnny B, Garry Meier - huge "gets" for the station. They tried being more straight news and it did them in, sure sports is one of their flagships but the other hours of the day the personality is what brings in ears. Even the news people are interwoven into the station's identity and personality. Mike McConnell in middays isn't doing too badly either. Chicago listeners have been receptive of him.
