Nothing? Well thank you again for the previous opinions that allowed me to get into the heads of talented people that have already made it in radio. I pulled my application from Madison Media Institute and my parents actually applauded my reasoning for doing so. I managed to gather a list of most stations' office numbers so I will start calling and asking about internships. Maybe one day I will have the privelege of posting here and offering my knowledge to someone new like me.
: Wow, thank you everyone. It sounds like the general consensus is that I shouldn't send in my first tuition payment and instead I should look at a more generic degree and then try to work my way into radio on the side. I am going to take your advice and am looking at UW Madison for Communications. Any suggestions on how to get the good internships that I will really benefit from? Do I just call the radio stations and ask, or?
: Thank you again. You have provided me with priceless insight.

: : Maybe I am lame for posting, but I am about to start Madison Media Institute soon for radio. I know I have a lot to learn but I am wondering what I can do to put myself ahead of the other people who will be in my class. What can I do to set myself apart and give me a better chance at breaking into radio and become successful at it? Any opinions and experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
