This is one of those cases where not all publicity is good publicity. He probably should have had forthought to not say "Do you know who I am?" Not only does it sound douchey but it makes them no who you "are" and someone in the precinct called in the arrest report to the media. If he was not so quick with the pull the arrest may not have been publicized at all. He could have paid the ticket and still had a job in all likelihood. This is a teachable moment to broadcasters young and old.
