It seems losing John & Tammy plus losing the position of the only country station in the market is something they have yet to figure out how to recover from.
what's sad is that Q106 is losing #s while 96.3 isn't really doing anything special themselves. Aside from stealing John and Tammy and doing that "Stuck in a Truck" lame promotion that ended with no one even winning the truck, the station continues to essentially run on autopilot. case in point: promoting Z104 interns to full time 96.3 jocks (Tyler, Steph) and putting sales guys on the air. Scott Summers? How about the fact that his page is http://www.wmad.com/pages/robert.html. Yeah that doesn't make anyone wonder. And nice content on that page too, he's logged absolutely no blogs.
