: I dont know if this was a topic before if so sorry to bring it up again.
: But why is the connie and curtis website set up the way it is, it tells you to pick a station then when you pick one or the other its the same bio page? why not just put the bio page on the connie and curtis site, or something better?
I don't know for sure but I can imagine it's for a few reasaons:
1) Connie & Curtis own their "web site" domain outright so any traffic there is owned by them. You then choose your "affiliate" (if you want to call two stations that way) and your browser is redirected to the chosen station's web site which is owned by the radio station itself/Clear Channel.
2) Each individual web site, whole wholly owned by Clear Channel, has its own local sales department and many of the ads served on Connie & Curtis' bio and related pages carry ads sold by local sales reps and they need accurate local traffic to be able to sell those spots to local advertisers.
Hope that helps.
