I think that's because in addition to fluff, she still has the chops from her Nixon days, as well as 60 Minutes and Primetime Live.
: I may not like Couric or Sawyer, but it's not that I don't think a woman can hack it as the anchor. I just think both Couric and Sawyer's 'news' sensibilities and interviewing style are better suited to the fluff on Today or GMA than the nightly news. But what do I know? Sawyer has grown the ratings for WNT and narrowed the gap with NBC NN.
