All I can say is, how sad. Sad for the child or children involved in a case of divorce, and now possibly, with a Dad accused of incest.

From my own experience the District Attorney's offices in Wisconsin do not bring charges unless there is cause and belief of proof "beyond a reasonable doubt".

A disgruntled spouse cannot get charges like this against their estranged spouse. It just doesn't happen that way. The DA's offices see right through these things.

I liked Jeff on air alot. I also enjoy the WISC-TV morning show thoroughly.

Again, think about the child or children in this situation.

I understand that it killed Jeff's career, so if it is a vengence wife, she got at least this. I truly do not believe this though. These accusations are not taken lightly and are investigated thoroughly.

WISC-TV just lost another broadcaster a few months back due to accusations of criminal behavior, the sportscaster, who was accused of disorderly conduct. It was then discovered by WISC-TV that the sportscaster did not have a valid drivers license. That was their basis of letting him go.

Please don't make this about a man's career. It is, about protecting children, plain and simple.

I feel very sorry for Jeff's kid or kids. Very sad situation, too real and too personal. Sometimes it is when our local broadcasters violate and are published that others realize that these terrible crimes happen and can happen to anyone, in anyone's home.
