Of course everyone is always worried about their job (this IS radio) and with this current economy, they wonder how they'll fill their tanks and put gifts under the tree. But things over here aren't _that_ bad (I'm at Midwest).
So far my position hasn't been voicetracked or combined with the janitor's. Thankfully.
We have some of the same problems (inadequate management and "interesting" spending choices) but the overall morale is better than you describe.
BUT I will say - IMO, while the vibe in the halls of CC hasn't always echoed exactly what is felt all across Madison, CC always tends to at least set the tone for what WILL be felt in the near future. Everything seems to happen @ CC first. So I won't be surprised if our morale is heading in that direction soon.
That's just my feeling. I'm sure someone else can chime in with theirs.
