Local Talk Host:
WCLO 1230-AM in Janesville, WI is searching for our next local talk host. The right individual will serve the Rock County community, addressing local issues, events and news with commentary, guest interviews and listener phone calls.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate their own views on local, state and national issues while interacting in a positive fashion with guests and callers of differing opinion.
Our new talk host will be eager to quickly integrate into the community and develop an ongoing understanding of what is of most importance to area residents and listeners and must be well-versed in all scopes or current events including news, sports, business, politics and entertainment.
Preference will be given to applicants with previous radio and/or talk host experience. A journalism or communications degree is also favorable, but not required.
WCLO-AM 1230 is a full service news/talk/sports station owned by Bliss Communications Inc., We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, 401K plan, medical and dental insurance and profit sharing.
