Position Description and Responsibilities: •Attain budgeted revenue goals through effective solicitations, promotions and service •Prospect local direct clients •Lead generation •Handle outside sales calls •Efficiently negotiate with agency buyers •Attract and close advertisers to sell products and services via TV •Provide input on sales promotion ideas to sales management •Retain current business and develop new business contacts •Present marketing/advertising ideas to area business •Sell commercial advertising time and other station products to local advertisers •Understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and find ways to help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising
Qualifications and How to Apply: •A minimum of 2 years experience in agency and new business development •College degree preferred •Strong negotiation, organizational, written and presentation skills •Proficiency with TvScan, TNS and Media Audit •Positive attitude •Track record of success and great reputation are a must •Enjoy a fast paced environment with a desire to win •Professional appearance a must
