As for your demand of moderation, I vote against this. I like open discussion without censorship. Someone else said that the moderator will remove things if the person being discussed asks nicely, so maybe Jon hasn't asked or doesn't care - we don't know.
If you hadn't noticed, that thread was slowly moving down the page as new topics were brought up for discussion. Now you've "bumped" it back up to the top. Good job.
