Question: When NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC, et al air these big blowout charity events like telethons...do they get to write off the ad revenue they would have received if they were airing regular programming? Or does it just get chalked up to fulfilling their requirement to "serve in the public interest" and make the FCC happy?
