I think the only trademarked name is Jack. Stations that want to be "Jack FM" have to pay a licensing fee and get the "real" "original" Variety Hits format playbook including imaging, promotions and music advice. Stations using "Bob" or "Charlie" or other similar names are doing it because they're cheap.
