I knew Z had sold out (probably by corporate mandate) and was airing Ryan Seacrest's pieced together nationwide midday daily show. I further knew they had sold out even more by airing the syndicated Dawson McCallister Christian talkfest on the overnight. I however did not know they had signed on to use Clear Channel's new Premium Choice jocks for weekends. Instead of being a great spring board station for many brand new and up and coming jocks to earn their stripes, Z is now airing the pieced together, lazy likes of JoJo from KIIS LA, Boy Toy Jesse from KIIS LA, and others. No more giveaways, no more true live and local topics and phoners about backups on the Beltline..
Is there any good news in radio anymore?
