710 ESPN Seattle Ups Murphy To PD

BONNEVILLE Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN)/SEATTLE ups APD OWEN MURPHY to PD. MURPHY joined KIRO in JANUARY, working with BONNEVILLE SEATTLE PD ROD ARQUETTE to launch the Sports format on the station to replace the Talk programming that moved to KIRO-F. He previously produced for MLB.COM and ESPN RADIO and was APD and afternoon co-host at CLEAR CHANNEL Sports WTSO-A (ESPN 1070, now THE BIG 1070)/MADISON.
"This is a natural progression for OWEN," said GM DAVE PRIDEMORE. "He has been instrumental in launching the station and developing our on-air team and has earned the chance to take full responsibility for our on-air product."
