LOOKING FOR NEWS REPORTER / ANCHOR

Position Description and Responsibilities: Mid-West Family Broadcasting is searching for an individual to be a News Reporter/ Anchor. This person will cover several daily local stories out in the community and write them up to air on WTDY 1670am. This person will also be responsible for anchoring daily newscasts as scheduled and updating headlines on our website. Some weekend on-call assignments are also possible along with coverage of occasional night meetings. WTDY is one of the few stations that is live and local all day. We are looking for someone who is willing to make our news � shine! We want someone who is creative, organized and fast-thinking with outstanding writing skills. A minimum of 2 years of experience in some type of journalism is required.
Qualifications and How to Apply: Qualified candidates should be enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills and be able to handle multiple projects under a strict deadline. Qualified candidates also need to portray a positive attitude and strong work ethic to ensure a productive and successful environment with the company.
