: I have two HD televisions in the house and have to agree with "nbc15 sux", the locally produced programming looks like something found in a small market. On Monday night during the storm coverage, the weather maps really showed the color seperation isses they face with an overcompressed signal. 3 and 27 blow 15 out of the water. : : Dude-- upgrade from your 1948 B&W tv. I think they look great. And if you wanna bitch about a logo being on the screen, go somewhere else. That is like saying that is sucks to ID the station after every song. It is brilliant they put a little logo there. Therefore you know what channel you are watching on your piece of crap TV. : : But I will agree on their recorded material. It has a more compressed quality. : : : The video color processing sucks, encoding of pre-recorded material is highly compressed, and they have the stupid "15" bug in the upper right hand corner of the screen. These are all the reasons I pull WMAQ-5/Chicago from DIRECTV versus watching 15. In fact, when I got my Nielsen book last fall, I filled it out with "WMAQ" and not "WMTV". : : : : : : : And I think NBC15 thinks it's in a far bigger market than Madison. Lame. : : : : : : : : : Well, just because a media outlet refuses to acknowledge a second-hand rumor website, and removes a reference to people "hating" a member of their staff doesn't mean they suck. I think your expectations of your freedom of speach are too heavy. : : : : : : I posted a comment on their site today, about Michelle Riell leaving - saying I saw the story on MadCityRadio and I wished her the best in her new gig, that she should ignore the haters. They completely edited my post to remove the reference to MadCityRadio and edited out my remark about ignoring the haters too. Wtf!
