: : Looks like Dan Arthur and his wife Michelle have landed monrings in Omaha at Star 104.5.

: Source? Did I miss something in a trade mag/All Access? I didn't see anything on the station's website -- perhaps I missed it.

I haven't been able to find an official source but I did find this so I think this rumor seems very likely:
"This is going to be a harder blog than I thought. 3 years really flies by. I can still remember being in Medford, OR when I was offered the opportunity to come to NBC 15 and start up The Morning Show Weekend Live. (Back then the show hadn't even been named yet, nor was it being done by anyone in the area). I had never been to Madison before, nor Wisconsin for that matter. I just packed up my little apartment and headed East with my best friend and cat!

We launched the show in mid September back in 2006. We were all so very nervous about our first show, hoping to look at the right camera, hoping to know what was coming next and of course, whether anyone would be watching let alone be interested in getting news that early on the weekends. Turns out we found a great niche in the market and I've really enjoyed watching the show morph into what it is today. It's hands down the best part of my work week. People always say, Have a good weekend, oh wait, you have to work. But, I would always smile and respond, don't be sorry, I love working Weekend Live, it's a blast! We've had so many memorable moments on the show, met a lot of wonderful people who do amazing things in the community, were able to get people news and weather information they needed first thing on the weekend mornings and most importantly, I was able to learn, grow and become a better Meteorologist. I've also enjoyed my time as a reporter, bringing people news of the day or lighter stories that make the newscasts not seems so depressing. This has been the best work experience I've ever had. Everyone who works here is just as nice as they seem on the air and many have become good friends of mine, in front and behind the camera. It's been such a pleasure coming into work, where I work, with the people I work with, for the last 3 years.

So now comes the next chapter. Dan and I accepted a morning show radio job out of Madison. I'll be moving from in front of the camera to behind the microphone, helping people start their days with a smile. We'll be working an Adult Contemporary format from 5:30 a.m. - 9 a.m. I fell in love with radio and working with my husband all the times we got to fill in on 96.3 Star Country and now get to do that full time, for a living! How cool is that!? I'll be getting paid to work with my husband and talk about funny events in our lives, entertainment news, weird people at the mall and still keep my hand in some news reading as well. We'll have the same schedule and weekends and holidays off... a big change! (As it is now, we don't have one day off together). Another great thing about this opportunity is the company we will be working for also owns a television station, meaning I will likely get to fill in about a half dozen times a year.

My last day at NBC 15 will be in mid August. As I am getting teary eyed as I write this, I'm sure it will be a tough final show to get through. I have come to love most things about Southern Wisconsin and adore and respect all of my co-workers. We all take such pride in our show, which is to be expected when you start something and watch it grow. I will also miss all of the wonderful viewers who I run into the street or have emailed me over the years... thanks for your encouragement and kind words. It's been such a pleasure to come into your home each weekend morning to give you the news and weather and hopefully a smile."
