There is some good in Madison radio. But good doesn't make news as quickly as poor. It's not nearly as sexy. Here are some high points on the landscape IMO:
1) Magic98 is a heritage station still performing after 20+ years
2) Z104 has remained in control despite syndicating it's morning show - beat the odds
3) WOLX morphed away from what is a failing 'pure oldies' format nationally and lives to fight in the top 5 often.
4) We learned how NOT to perform a radio station "flip"/"stunt" courtesy of the talented John Sebastian.
