I'm assuming the point of this "stunt" was to draw positive attention to the station itself and make people spread the buzz about what's going on ... apparently it didn't. The way I see it, there's a reason Q106 is having problems competing in today's Madison radio market. Personally, I think Jason and Nichole (spelling of Nichole?) are simply awful, and invoke more fake laughs at themselves than they get from listeners. It sounds like sometimes they spend hours talking to 3 or 4 year olds. Lame. 96.3 seems to play a larger variety of country music, and with less commercials and appeal to the "younger" country fans. Q106 has seemingly gone downhill since the departure of John and Tammy ... anyone know if they lost them because they couldn't afford them anymore? Anyway, poor marketing and unfortunatly it looks like Q106 may be on it's way out.
