: : Did CC manage to tank Q with Star 96.3 and destroy any chances the station had at recovering?

: CC is partially responsible. They gave Madison another choice for country. Then they really sealed the deal with grabbing John & Tammy. Now what's strange is the rest of their dayparts are pretty substandard and I'd say Q106 excels over them, but that strong mornings position and then playing nearly the same music (and some might say, even better programmed) makes it difficult for people to switch back to Q. MWF should have been more aggressive from the get-go. Ultimately the position they're in is their fault and I'm sure Johann Bach Sebastian is being paid nicely to turn things around. Pay now or pay later, so they say.

When I first moved here I was told that 96 was the only station to listen to for country. After a few months of listening to J & T's self-centered broadcasts I personally went looking for a new station and found Q106.
