I was on the road yesterday (I'm on vacation) when the announcement was formally made. But as expected, Madison-based Connie and Fish will be the new morning team on WQBW-FM (97.3). They'll move their Madison-based show to Milwaukee starting Monday, Sept. 15, and then simulcast at their old station, WZEE-FM (104.1) in Madison.

97.3 The Brew Program Director, Jeff Lynn announced today that Connie and Fish have been selected as the new Morning Drive hosts for The Brew
"Milwaukee will be waking up to something new and exciting," said Lynn. "We searched the country for our new morning team and there really was only one choice. Connie and Fish have enjoyed tremendous success in Madison the past several years and we look forward to having them on The Brew team."
The new team will debut on The Brew on Monday, September 15th. The show will originate from The Brew studios in Milwaukee and be syndicated to their present home, WZEE, Z-104, in Madison.
Lynn also put to rest rumors of a format change for The Brew. "Absolutely not. Brew music is not changing. Period."
"Connie and Fish are proven winners and I am very excited to bring them Milwaukee", said Cindy McDowell, Vice President and Market Manager of Clear Channel Milwaukee.
