: John Sebastian's next programming challenge - Mid-West Family's Q106 in Madison

: The station actually a simulcast of 106.3 and 106.7 is currently doing country. Sebastian has done country in markets such as Los Angeles, at the former KZLA (93.9). But hes programmed and consulted many other formats, including the classic hits Jack WJMK, in Chicago for CBS. As for Madison, Sebastian says This marks a new age for the 106.3 frequency, and that suggests a breakup of the
simulcast of WWQM-FM, Middleton at 106.3 and WWQN, Mt. Horeb at 106.7. The incoming PD says that for 106.3, what we envision will be eclectic, yet contemporary and full of hits. Sometimes classic but often cutting-edge, dare I say alternative. Not just music from one country but many countries. The presentation will be smooth but full of surprises. Finally, Sebastian says Madison is one of the hottest, hippest music towns in this nation and the new station should reflect that, along with the citys open-ended, inclusive vibe. Sebastian takes up his new post in July.
Yeah. That will work. (hahahahaha)
