: I'll admit I watched it as a news story and for the technical aspect as to how the networks executed the broadcast.

: I didn't actively search for it on every channel I get on Direct TV, but did find it on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, Headline News, MSNBC, and Fox News Channel. They used a common feed so the networks all carried the broadcast with various delay times. MSNBC was the closest to being live, while HN had the longest delay at 6 seconds. CNBC and Fox Business Channel carried regular programming, but dropped into the live feed just before they went into their commercial breaks.

: Audio wise, MSNBC was the only network to carry it in true stereo with excellent left/right channel separation and deep bass. All the rest had the audio in mono and HN was very tinny sounding.

From what I understand, no one had the opportunity to setup their own stuff and everything on every network/website/radio broadcast was from a single pool feed that was produced and shot by the same people who do all of the Staple Center events. So it's wierd that there was such difference between airings. I guess it really showed the quality of people and technology behind the various outlets.
