Even if we put the format different aside and forget about the fact that The Brew skews to older males and Z skews to teenie-boppers and 18-24 women..there is still the HUGE difference in these two markets. I think Bob & Brian's success(or lack thereof) is evidence of how very different two markets that are so close together can be. Madison and Milwaukee migth be 100 miles apart but the way the cities operate are SO different. Madison is a lot cooler and funkier, open-minded..but at the same time it's a small town. So any local morning show there is used to balancing that. Milwaukee on the other hand is blue collar, likes-it-the-way-its-always-been and has its' own little "isms". I wish I could say I had confidence in Connie & Fish's talents to say they could 1)somehow manage to appeal to both cities and 2) both formats, 3) both demographics..but the sad truth is this was another stupid decision by CC that will cause Connie & Fish's success thus far to blowup in their face.
