Looks like they are down to 2 in the sports dept. They let go of the woman that was on the staff there.

These might be the most visible layoffs in local TV to this point. All the stations are operating with lean staffs and have cut back recently, but most of the people were off-air support staff. If on-air folks were let go they were replaced with younger (cheaper) talent.
