: I still take the music calls. Just because I answer the phone does not end the 6+ year relationship I have developed with the record companies.They know me and they respect my musical opinion. That doesn't change because I answer " Entercom Madison" Besides, for a LOT of listeners and clients, the person answering the front desk is their only contact with the station. I'd rather it be me than someone who looks at this as a temporary job rather than a career. In my opinion, receptionists should be paid a lot more than they do and I have held this opinion for a long time.
