I hate to hear about situations like this but I for one amy grateful to see a company try and make room for someone rather than tossing them out. Maybe our industry is turning a small corner? Not sure what the going rate is for receptionists -vs- on-air. I imagine 10,000 difference? 20,000 tops for Madison.

: Not considering the obvious "ego" bruising that has to take place when one transitions from a management position to receptionist.. and aside from the fact that yes, you get to have a job unlike many Americans and you get to keep your benefits/insurance...
