Uncle Larry Hancock, who did the Crazeology show on WORT for 20 years, passed away last Thursday in Milwaukee. He was 48 and he died of a heart attack. He was a math teacher at Marquette University.

Anyone who ever listened to his show would know that he played jazz that was recorded on the date of the show that day. He must have had a huge collection of music. The show was on Fridays/Sat. from midnite until 6 AM. He was an incredible boon for the jazz community here and he will be sorely missed.

There will be a memorial for him in Milwaukee at Marquette's Chapel of the Holy Family on Thursday from 4 to 5.
