This story was ridiculous when channel 3 ran the story three weeks ago. The more I read this story, the more boring the concept seemed to me.
I'd guess the production company is remaining anonymous for one of two reasons:
1) There is no production company and the owner is backing production himself with the intent of shopping it around to the networks afterward.
2) The network in question wants the option to kill the project with little embarrassment to themselves.
If nobody in Madison is interested in this, why would the rest of the nation be interested in it?
