No one from Ed's days is left. Zoe had most of them gone within a year (thru firings or being forced out.)
I don't think anyone would pay more than $500k for both. The facilities are falling apart in that swamp. I heard the heiffer they have doing mornings fell thru the floor the other day because the building is so rotten. Zoe can't be billing more than $20k/month combined on both stations. They've alienated WPDR's audience and I don't think WDDC's is too far behind.
: I would have to agree that 1.1 is A LOT of money for these stations. I cannot image that their combined billing is that respectable. Would take some time to get your investment back.
: Just curious...anyone know of what happened to some of the staffers when Kramer owned the operation? Doug Peters still around Portage?
: : I hear a rumor swirling that a deal is in the works for Good Karma Broadcasting to buy the pair of radio stations that Zoe Communications owns in Portage, WPDR and WDDC. From what I've been told, an agreement is in place, just working on a final price and the minor details. I believe Zoe bought those stations in 2003 for 1.1 million. With the economy what it is, there's no possible way they could get that for them now, is there? Anyone have any opinions?
