Remarkable Talk Radio host opportunity with a locally owned company in an amazing city. Our last team has just accepted a job in a market three times our size. Can you fill their shoes? Can you own afternoon's in one of America's most livable cities? WTDY Madison WI has a rare afternoon drive opening. You will be working in brand new facility in a state of the art studio. You will have a producer. You will be given the tools to win. Are you the next person we lose to a major? Need your stuff now.
We are seeking an entertaining, quick thinking and ultra informed person to handle talk show duties. This position will also help out in the News Department as needed. A minimum of 8 years of on-air talk experience is required. Exceptionally qualified candidates will also have experience in a newsroom and promotions, but this experience is not required. A strong work ethic and the desire to do great local talk radio are required.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Qualified candidates should be creative, imaginative, have good communication and organizational skills. The candidate should have some knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and have the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects. Qualified candidates will portray a positive attitude and strong work ethic to ensure a productive and successful environment with the company.
