Sounds like they're cutting the budget to save money like when WLUM dropped Brian Kramp from the morning show to have Adler host it solo, with mostly music.

The new morning guy's name is Joe. He was at WIXX for awhile. In other words, probably a consultant suggestion. Consultants can even have the PD fired if they wanted in many cases. WLDB's current format is a consultant format run on several stations, some in big markets. Ratings have been good for these stations.
