: Jolene K. Neis, age 44, died on Thursday, March 12, 2009, in a Madison hospital following complications from a brain aneurysm. She was born on Aug. 31, 1964, in Madison the daughter of Joseph and Judith (Skolaski) Havlik. She graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1982 and later from UW-Madison with a bachelor's degree in business. She was currently the CFO of Midwest Family Broadcast Group and began her career there in 1991. She had many hobbies including boating, reading and shopping for purses. She was a member of the Wisconsin Broadcasting Association, Dane County Humane Society and the United Way. She married Jeff Neis on Aug. 7, 1992 at Okee on Lake Wisconsin. In addition to her husband, Jeff; she is survived by three children, Chelsea (Allan) Tejeda of Madison, Zachary Arnold and Erik Neis of DeForest. She is also survived by her mother, Judith (Jack) Olson of Sun Prairie; father, Joseph Havlik; a sister, Rae (David) Crawford of Visalia, Calif.; a nephew, Aubrey Crawford; several cousins; countless friends; and her four-legged companions, Jacob Chance, Molly Murphy, Buck and Tigger. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at the RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 6924 Lake Road, DeForest. The Reverend Scott Carlson will officiate. Entombment will be at the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will also take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the United Way of Dane County, 2059 Atwood Ave. No. 1, Madison, WI 53704. The family wishes to thank the staff at University Hospitals Neurology ICU for the best of care for Jolene.
