Air America Media has inked a multi-year deal with talk host and author Montel Williams (pictured) to host a new show on the network. Montel Across America will air weekdays from 9am-noon (ET) and also stream live at www.airamerica.com beginning April 6. �Montel is a multi-media star and a familiar name to millions across the country,� said Air America CEO Bennett Zier. �The addition of Montel to our talent lineup is an important step for the continued growth of Air America.� Commenting on his new radio program Williams said, �After being on TV for more than 17 years, I�m looking forward to engaging in lively conversations and interacting with the American public. Air America is providing me with the perfect environment to do this every day from New York City, as well as reporting from cities around the world as a traveling correspondent.� Air America reports that a new program hosted by Lionel � who now airs in the 9am-noon slot that Williams will take � is currently in development.
