Most of what's on Channel 30 is video tape. Old videos from the 1980s and before are commonplace.
They were offered millions by CBS in the 90s when WITI switched to Fox. Vic turned it down.
I'm guessing if anything does go, it will be WVCY-TV. Probably to the spectrum auction. That will allow them to fund the radio ministry longer.
The song I heard from 1984 on WVCY was by Steve Green. That's a little contemporary for WVCY. I wonder if there is more of that to come.
Right now the music they are playing is the typical Christmas traditional. Much of this came off vinyl.
Wasn't until the early-mid 2000s that they basically stopped putting records onto turntables.
They still do not have RDS.
