Top Chef meets Madcity

A nationwide promotional tour featuring winning chefs from Bravo TV's popular Top Chef show will be in Madison next Wednesday, August 27 across from the Farmer's Market downtown (100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.).
The tour features three hour-long interactive shows (10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.) that include cooking demonstrations and food tastings hosted by Stephanie Izard, winning chef from season four, and Dale Levitski, winning chef from season three.
According to a media alert sent out by Bravo and Charter Communications, the demonstration will take place in a 48-foot long vehicle equipped with a kitchen with all the bells and whistles. The vehicle will seat 38 guests, and there's space for an outdoor audience of 300 via a live-feed 52" television screen.
According to Bravo press manager Tory Brody the event is free. Pre-registration is closed, but she said seats inside the truck may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The tour is visiting 20 cities across the country and Brody said it's been very popular. She encouraged fans to come about an hour before the shows begin to ensure getting a seat.
