Madison's most popular morning radio personalities for nearly five years, Marc Anthony and Vicki McKenna, are expected to leave pop-rock outlet Z104 Friday.
Anthony's contract with WZEE-FM (104.1) expires Dec. 31, and he said Tuesday he wants to explore other options in radio.
``As of right now, I am more up in the air than I've been at any point in my career,'' said Anthony, 35.
``But sometimes you need the reinvigoration and light a fire under yourself again. I want to get out and see what the market will bear, maybe in this city, maybe in another city. Who knows?''
McKenna will not remain with Z104, either. She could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
: Does anyone else remember when the Mark Anthony and Vicki McKenna morning show broke up on Z104? I remember there were rumors about Mark raping Vicki but never saw anything in the papers about any charges or anything. I just returned to Madison after being overseas and noticed Vicki's now on WIBA-AM as a talk show host. Does anyone know what happened to Mark? Is he in jail?
