"Shareholder sues to block Journal-Scripps deal."
One day after Journal Communications and E.W. Scripps filed their merger and spinoff deal with the FCC, an inevitable shareholder lawsuit opposing the deal has been filed. The Shareholders Foundation, a San Diego firm specializing in securities class action litigation, says an unnamed investor who holds shares of Journal has sued to halt the deal, alleging it undervalues the company.
