Charlie Sykes is disgruntled due to his ratings dropping off nearly every book. He's the kind of person that thinks the listening audience not listening to him is full of idiots. A 'they have no clue what they're missing' mentality. In fairness, most good talk show hosts and jocks have a healthy sense of self, and ego. However that mostly translates into creating a show vibe of being bigger than life, not being whiney and admitting how small your audience is and how uninterested the audience is in engaging.
