No offense, "jigga," but why would anyone get into any business accepting shit pay, particularly at a young age, with one's whole life ahead of them?
Using your "the pay sucks" rationalization, why wouldn't everyone go into teaching? One can bitch about the lousy pay, and the job mostly sucks, but there's unparalleled job security, and its a noble profession.
Could anyone say the same about radio? This isn't the Parcher/Hinckley (or, hell, even Reitman/Mueller) era, where kids sat radio-side with baited breath, waiting to hear if their school had been closed today.
Is plugging a Saturday-morning remote at some siding company worth $36K p/year and being two paychecks away from bankruptcy? That's for the reader to decide, I guess.
