I'm really tired of people hating their fellow broadcasters on this site and mc. post is a perfect example of why the radio industry is imploding.

it doesnt matter if you think sly is the worst person on the planet, we should all be happy that he was able to find another gig. Clear Channel is merging the content of the two biggest markets in the state after years of chipping away at local programming. That means even less local content and fewer opportunities for people entering the industry, veteran broadcasters, and even you resentful, petty fucks who think you know the industry.

While some faceless board of directors in Texas is destroying the medium we all love, all I hear from radio folks is spiteful vitriol. No matter what your political leanings or philosophy on radio, we should all be thankful that Vicki McKenna, Sly, and even FISH, do their shows from Wisconsin.

Anyone that disagrees with me should just say that Sly narcissistically posted this and continue to listen to the garbage spewed by radio consultants who know NOTHING about that local community that we are all supposed to serve.
