I agree with your observation. "Life In A Northern Town" and "Three Little Birds" are two songs I seem to catch nearly every time I turn on the station. And wtf is "Kiss From A Rose" doing in regular rotation??

My biggest gripe is I feel WMMM is a terrible AAA format when compared to stations like WXRT in Chicago. But a big part of the difference is WXRT lets the jocks pick the tunes and are live most (if not all) of the day. That gives the station a better feel of variety and a better sound. WMMM, on the other hand, relies on Selector logs, small categories, and obviously voice tracked talent.
