About Our Company: WEAU 13 News, the dominant station in Eau Claire, WI, is searching for a weekend news anchor. If you have experience on the anchor desk and excellent reporting skills, we want to talk to you.
The qualified candidate will not only anchor a primary newscast, but will report during the week and fill-in on the weekday anchor desk as needed.
You must be a self-starter with the ability to build contacts quickly. Our reporters bring lead story ideas to the table every day. Producing newscasts will also be required from time to time. Posting stories to WEAU.com, shooting and editing your own stories are all part of this job as well. This is not a starter position. We’re looking for at least one year of experience. Your reel should speak for itself.
